Soft Tissue Injectible Filler Alert

Having soft tissues fillers injected into the face, especially around the eyes is not an innocuous procedure. These fillers are medical devices and should be ordered and injected by qualified physicians. Nurses should only inject after an assessment by a qualified physician and an appropriate plan and supervision are in place. Serious side effects such as blindness and strokes have been reported and the labeling on products will soon include these warnings.

When considering injections for wrinkles, consult and experienced surgeon who knows their anatomy and can provide you with appropriate treatment options.

Remember, fillers and ant wrinkles injections should only be injected in a medical facility, not in a hair dressing salon, beauty therapy salon or pharmacy.

Of course “Injectible parties” are of course a “No No”!
