Congratulations Double Bay Day Surgery on Accreditation with 3 Years Recertification!

Double Bay Day Surgery just passed its three year rigorous recertification audit with flying colours! The day surgery and clinic are accredited to both ISO:9001 and the NSQHS (National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards).

It is now the law that all surgical facilities where cosmetic surgery in Sydney like Dr Hodgkinson is performed be licensed but not all are accredited as well. Accreditation will undoubtedly be the next step as accreditation is where compliance to the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards is measured. It is also important to note that these standards for accreditation just as the requirements for licensure are always changing and so current compliance and up-to-date systems are critical to maintaining standards of patient safety.

Accreditation to any standard let alone two quality standards is yet another higher level of scrutiny that ensures that all measures for safety and quality are in place.

Dr Hodgkinson and his team at The Double Bay Day Surgery and Cosmetic & Restorative Surgery Clinic pride themselves on the rigorous standards to which they hold themselves and to which they are audited to ensure that patient safety comes first and that the facilities and patient experience they provide meets or exceeds best practice in Australia.

Always make sure when you are having any surgery that the facility is both licensed and accredited. You have the right to know and the right to be safe.
